Vanguard Lifetime Income Program annuities are single-premium, immediate annuities issued by American General Life Insurance Company of Delaware (NAIC No. 66842), Form Nos. 14EGAN403 and 16GVIA1000, and, in New York State only, by The United States Life Insurance Company in the City of New York (NAIC No. 60607), Form Nos. 24EGAN403 and 26GVIA1000, and they are distributed by American General Equity Services Corporation. Investors are encouraged to consult a tax advisor for information on how annuity taxation applies to their individual situations.

For more information and to obtain fund and annuity contract prospectuses, call American General at 877-299-1724. Investment objectives, risks, charges, expenses, and other important information are contained in the prospectuses; read and consider them carefully before investing.

Expense ratios are displayed on each portfolio's Overview page. For portfolios less than one fiscal year old, the expense ratios are estimated.

Variable annuities' underlying investment portfolios are subject to investment risk, including possible loss of principal.

Vanguard Lifetime Income Program Performance

Short-term total return information is provided only as a service. Average annual returns include changes in unit value, and reinvestment of all dividends and capital gains, reduced by daily mortality and expense risk charges and administrative expense charges.

Since-inception returns for less than one year aren't annualized.

Index performance is provided as a benchmark but isn't illustrative of any particular investment. An investment can't be made in an index.

The performance data shown represent past performance, which isn't a guarantee of future results. Investment returns and principal value will fluctuate.

Vanguard Lifetime Income Program Money Market Portfolio

An investment in a money market portfolio isn't insured or guaranteed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or any other government agency. Although the portfolio seeks to preserve the value of your investment at $1 per share, it's possible to lose money by investing in the portfolio.

The yield quotation for the Money Market Portfolio reflects the current earnings of this portfolio more closely than its total return quotation.
