Buying ETFs, stocks, bonds, and CDs |
To buy Vanguard ETFs®, stocks, bonds, CDs, or exchange-traded funds from other fund companies, you'll need a Vanguard Brokerage Account. Learn about the advantages of Vanguard Brokerage » Open an account, or if you're already a Vanguard Brokerage client, log on to trade. You may also download and print a blank application form, complete it, and mail it to us. Vanguard ETFs are not redeemable with the issuing fund other than in very large aggregations worth millions of dollars. Instead, investors must buy or sell Vanguard ETF Shares in the secondary market with the assistance of a stockbrocker. In doing so, the investor may incur brokerage commissions and may pay more than net asset value when buying and receive less than net asset value when selling. Brokerage assets are held by Vanguard Brokerage Services, a division of Vanguard Marketing Corporation, member FINRA and SIPC. |
